Fly Rods

We build Belize's first fly rod series right here in San Pedro. Our Tres Pescados line includes our "Fast Flats Rod" series and our "Moderate Fast Rod" series, both available in 8 and 10 wts.

In addition, we also build custom rods on our Tres Pescados blanks whereby YOU select the wrap colors, cork handle, and reel seat. All finished off with your custom information set in the rod for life.

We also carry the full line of Ross Fly Rods voted Editor's Choice Award from Fly Fish America Magazine along with other awards and were noted as "...outperformed several other rods costing seven times as much". You know the quality of Ross Reels and it's a name you can depend on for rods.

	Tres Pescados Moderate Fast Fly Rods - Our moderate-fast series is built on an RX6 - 33 million modulus graphite blank. These rods are moderate fast action with SIC (ceramic) stipping guides, snake guides and a large loop tip top guide - all guides are stainless steel and chromed. The blanks are a beautiful a dark blue/teal with teal wraps, grade A cork handle, fully hard annodized black reel seat with double lock nuts, and fighting butt. 	Tres Pescados Extra Fast Fly Rods - Our Fast Flats Rods are built on an X-fast RX8 blank - proprietary modulus positioning incorporated in the blank design that results in fast action without sacrificing strength. These rods are truly extra fast for punching through the tough winds. The blanks are a matte gray finish with burgandy wraps, two tone supergrade A cork handles, fully hard anodized reel seats in shinny gunmetal with double lock nuts, all titanium guides, SIC stripping guide inserts, a large loop tip top guide and a fighting butt. These rods are a work of art and built for the winds of Belize. 	Custom Built Rods - We build custom fly rods on our Tres Pescados blanks in either our moderate fast rod series or our extra fast, Fast Flats Rod series. Each rod incorporates your selected wrap colors, cork handle, guides, reel seat and your personal information set in the rod for life. You can choose our standard colors, handle, guides, and seat or select from the many available styles. All of our custom rods come with our rod sock and bomb proof rod case. Price = All custom rods are the same price as our Tres Pescados line of rods unless custom selection of handles, guides, and reel seats are requested and then the additional cost is only the actual cost of the items landed here in San Pedro. 	Ross FW Fly Rod - The Essence® FW fly rod series is Ross's premium rod line. This 4-piece rod series has a beautiful deep green finish with nicely appointed silver accents. The reel seat is all aluminum and hard anodized for a long life of saltwater use. The handles are made from premium grade cork and each rod comes with a rod sock and a aluminum rod tube. The Essence FW proprietary R-3 graphite design is a medium-fast action taper that will provide any level of angler with the accuracy and smooth presentation required in the most challenging fishing conditions.
