guided fishing in belize

Discover the reason top fly fishers from around the world return to fish Belize time and time again. Belize flats in and around Ambergris Caye have been providing the excitment of fly fishing for bonefish, permit and tarpon since the world discovered it in the 1970's. With 400+ miles of flats and open water, you'll fish famous places such as Savannah, Mosquito, Cangrejo, and Long Caye as well as many cayes without a name.

Your time is valuable on the water and we know it can be difficult to select a flats fishing guide. Whether you're a seasoned saltwater angler or hunting your first bonefish, let Tres Pescados Fly Shop arrange your Belize fishing experience and get you out on the water.

  • I have fished with Wil in San Pedro as well as his new lodge in Hopkins, the Belize Permit Club. No one loves their job more than Wil and you get to be the beneficiary of his passion in what are the best waters to catch permit in the Caribbean. If you want your picture taken with a nice permit, fish with Wil.

  • I truly can't say I've ever met a more knowledgable and skilled permit guide than Wil Flack. Wil is an exceptional angler, teacher, boat companion and mentor. I believe every flats angler should spend at least one day with him on the water... there is no question that you'll walk away a better angler. I cannot recommend Wil or his company enough!

  • Belize Permit Club provides a family like atmosphere and a tremendous permit fishery. The guides are the best in the industry and help anglers maintain a sense of calm while casting to perhaps the hardest fish in the world to catch on a fly. Wil and his team take a partnership approach to permit fishing that can't be found anywhere else in the world. The lodge is comfortable, the fishing is outstanding and the staff is second to none. If you want to permit fish in one of the least pressured fisheries in the world then go to Belize Permit Club. - March 2017
