Ambergris Caye Fly Fishing Club
Banning together to promote a common interest of teaching and furthering the sport we all love has brought the
island's first fly fishing club into existance.
To teach the conservation mind set that goes along with fly fishing it is felt that the youth of the island have
much more future in preserving the fish that bring such joy and economic benifits that the club's efforts would best be
utilized if we began a casting club and focused on a junior league, thus the Ambergris Caye Casting Club open to
all juniors, women and men.
We also support the sustainable development of the island and through the Tres Pesacado Slam Tournament have been
able to help sponsors' funds reach the areas needing support to further the protection, enforcement, and research
of the 3 grand slam fish that provide so much to the community and the country.
Any and all are invited to join the club regardless of your location or how many times you visit the island or
where on the island or elsewhere you may live. Support for the casting club comes in various forms. Not everyone
can be here all of the time to help teach but can offer an hour here or there.
